The Alki Volleyball Association (AVA)

The AVA’s goal is to promote and grow the sport of beach volleyball in the Pacific Northwest, and continue the long-standing Alki beach volleyball tradition in Seattle, by hosting an annual series of highly competitive doubles and 4′s tournaments (Including all levels of playing skill from Open to Novice). In the process delivering our players and fans the excitement and fun of a competitive athletic contest surrounded by a unforgettable beach experience.

Alki Beach in Seattle – the heart of Beach Volleyball in the Northwest region
With Canadian players just to the north and Oregon players just to the south, its central geographic location and spectacular setting has always held it at the heart of Beach Volleyball in the Northwest corridor. Alki Beach Park directions.

Positive economic, and recreational impact
Since the early 1990′s, beach volleyball tournaments have characterized the beaches of Alki and brought recreational and economic benefits to the entire region. The events provide positive economic impact on the local area by encouraging support for the local businesses.

Thousands enjoy the annual summer events
Thousands of fans, players, supporters and passers-by enjoy the annual summer events at Alki beach. The AVA’s main goal is to deliver its fans the experience of a high-level athletic competition, combined with an unforgettable beach atmosphere.
