USA Beach Juniors – Western Open! July 10th

AVA will be hosting the US Open Juniors Western Open this year on July 10th at Alki beach in Seattle. Leading up to the Western Open will be a series of Junior events at Alki beach.

The USA Beach Junior Tour (Western Open @ Alki beach June 10th) is open to all two person teams. Teams are same gender. Tournaments are one day, with pool play followed by playoffs and awards. The tournaments are self administrated similar to junior golf and tennis, where players coach and officiate their own games. This format presents athletes the opportunity to play for the true love of the game, without interference from adults!

Online registration is the best method for securing a place for your team to play in one of our events. Only a limited amount of team slots are typically available for walk up players, after we close the online system. Open slots, if any, are awarded on a first come first serve basis the morning of the event.

NEW FOR 2011 –
We are asking players to register as a team. This can be accomplished in one of two methods on our registration site:

1. You can register both players in one online session by creating your team in one session. For this method you will pay for both teammates and you can settle up the entry fee offline with your partner. To streamline your entry, please collect your partner’s personal information: Name, Birth Date, USAV#, Parent’s Contact info so you have it ready online.
2. You can also register create a team and register the primary player. The system will ask you to create a team name, and password. You must then invite the parent/partner to join your team. Your partner will then use your team name and password to join the team thereby linking your separate registrations in the database as one unique team.
3. Also new for 2011 – You must supply your USAV member number as part of the registration process. If you do not have a number you can visit the site below and obtain your existing number or to purchase a membership: USA Volleyball Membership
4. Cost is $30 per player plus convenience fee.

12s – Born on September 1, 1998 to present

14s – Born on September 1, 1996 to present

16s – Born on September 1, 1994 to present

18s – Born on September 1, 1992 to present
